@user21 ah yes,Schroedinger equation with different boundary conditions, method of separation of variables for stationary states, green method for equation of Laplace and Poisson and field generated by a current, heat equation, helmholtz with fourier... But i have not yet used FEM at all and i really don't know what our teacher will cover and what software he will tell us to use.
@user21 i have been thinking about this the whole day, i think that applying now will put me in a position i am not comfortable with, with a lot of pressure on me while i deal with bioinformatics, so i will pass for the time being and i will submit a general application at the end of this semester, when i will know better. Sorry if i made you waste time. p.s. if you have any suggestion about a software or method that would be useful to know let me know, i need to take the class anyway.
I was checking out the IntelliJ plugin for Wolfram Language when I was notified about a new IntelliJ version. I clicked "update" and now the plugin doesn't work. I get this: "Plugin Error: Plugin "Wolfram Language" is incompatible (target build range is 192 to 192.*)."
@halirutan Thanks for the update! I'll probably start using it seriously later (and get a license). For now I was just trying it out. I wanted to use Eclipse with the official WL plugin, but is is so incredible bad... Thank for your effort on this alternative.
