Another good catch to have an implement of: I just waited for about a half hour to realize I was trying to print the output of the above while timing it....instead of suppressing it. A good pop up could have saved me this! So when the ByteCount is over a certain threshold, an “Are you sure?” pop-up would be cool. Not a message ;)

@halirutan @CarlLange Should it be tagged feature-request? I assume there's some automated process that helps them keep track of such issues. I know there's status-review and status-completed to indicate issues that are under review and have been resolved, respectively.

Dropping a note here to say that we're aware of this discussion. I don't have any real info for you but I do appreciate the systematic way you've gone through this discussion! We'll be considering this request but do be aware that we have some very busy people on our design team and, even with designs created, they need to go through an internal review process and there's some other considerations about subtitles for our sites. That comment came to mind for me too but I feel like it's beside the point, frankly. We are not asking for a name change or a new feature (e.g. subtitle.) All we're asking for is changing our logo, an image file, and whatever the consequences are of that we will bear all of them ourselves. It will not affect the broader Stack Exchange network.
What have we done so far that's made them think that we need to be on suicide watch?

@C.E. @MichaelE2 I'm not sure, if I'm allowed to be pissed as a moderator, but frankly, I am pissed. The reason is simple: In Dec 2018, which is not so much long ago, SE pressed us into a new design. Quite different to other SE sites, we tried to be helpful and give constructive comments.
One of the things I pointed out was that the logo was changed and looked awfully hinted and had wrong colors. I tried to start a discussion on how to fix this and had a logo as "work in progress". This seemed to be enough that the designer back then simply used it without me even realizing that he is the designer of our site.

@C.E. @MichaelE2 Now look at the time-stamps! He wrote 19:16 (yes, this is a time in hours and minutes!!!) that he liked it, I answered 20:43 and 21:33 the change was implemented!
Now, we ask for a very similar thing, we went through days of discussion and many people put work in this.
And obviously, we need a "formal review process" and even in 4 months, there is no conclusion. I simply don't understand it.
