Me again! It sure would be neat if I understood how these KeyEvent inputs execute! It seems to be neither procedural nor FIFO--I'd love to press Ctrl+' for \[Prime] in a "Superscript" level, with the cursor being After whatever gets primed, I just can't even get this to work in my head, let alone how the syntax is laid out with Ctrl+^ being in stark opposition to that of a \[DoubleStruckN].

@Szabolcs, hi, I posted a link to the new in 12 page that has a similar example (here)

Gah! This is so close, but it won't parse like the others in my QnA, is anyone decently familiar with adding these keymappings? This does something really cool and I'm trying to make it nice and seamless like the others, either way, check it out:
`FrontEndExecute[{
  FrontEnd`FrontEndToken["Superscript"],
  FrontEnd`FrontEndToken["Tab"],
  FrontEnd`NotebookWrite[
   FrontEnd`InputNotebook[], "\[Prime]"],
  FrontEnd`FrontEndToken["MoveExpressionEnd"]
  }]`
I'm just stumbling around in the dark here, folks, don't mind me, hah!
You should really use FrontEndFrontEndToken["MoveNext"]` though, I copied the wrong one, though it still works--perhaps I am using too many FrontEndTokens? No idea! Hope I don't clog the feed up too much here, though! Thanks all, hope you find this problem as distracting to solve as I have!

Made a post with what I think is a bug, can anyone else check on non-macs and/or perhaps v10:

Still can't figure out why the superscripted prime won't work--can anyone give a good resource for this? I added multiple modifiers and it still won't go through like it should. It just won't react to the additional mapping at all, and yet the 26x2 plus the others all work just fine!
