Hi, I'd like to announce the update to the FEMAddOns paclet 1.3.1 This new version has three finite element application examples that came from outside of WRI. Anyone that has some FEM related things they worked on and would like to share, you are most welcome to contribute. Also watches, stars and especially forks are well received ;-)

If anyone with python 3.5 or greater installed wants to give me a hand and see if the new pre-compiled binaries for PJLink are working please install the paclet from here and run:
<< PJLink`
InstallPython[]
(* if using a venv call this as InstallPython["python"] *)
Hopefully pre-compiling these is all I need to get this working. Each binary itself is pretty small, so the footprint will hopefully not be too much.

@b3m2a1 I have 2.7 as python and 3.6 as python3, will it automatically use python3 or do I need to configure something?
Well, seems like it went fine:

@CarlLange what platform are you on?
16:35
@b3m2a1 MacOS Mojave.
My python setup is not the built-in one though, since MacOS comes with something crazy like 2.6 by default

@b3m2a1 Worked for me too on MacOS Mojave. Python 3.7 installed via 'brew install python'

If anyone is interested, we're currently livestreaming a live coding session on the Wolfram twitch channel (not Stephen's) twitch.tv/wolfram
the presenter is Alan Calvitti, who works for Bank of America.
@JKlug Thanks for the heads up! It could be interesting to see some more of these, experts digging into interesting problems, while the SW livestreams are quiet :)

@Carl Lange We're planning many more streams! We're also planning some streams that will be deevelopers presenting the new version 12 functions that they completed. Those will be open to everyone for Q&A.
@JKlug Ah, sounds really great! That's very exciting.
