I imagine SW some years ago looking at an analogous to this buttocks question and thinking "screw the bugs, users want to twit, flashy one-liners that look cool, to plot their fav anime characters, CatBreedData, gauges, predictive bars that suggest "plot buttocks", etc"
Even the undo-for-mathematica campaing didn't get half the attention in months that the buttocks question got in hours. My undo for mma question got 4k views in 2.5years :)
@rm-rf I can say the same thing :). So, @belisarius finally did what he didn't succeed in on SO, regarding me at least :). But with the time I have to be on the site these days, I can only helplessly watch :)
@LeonidShifrin Certainly. The only reason I was in #2 for this long was because you and Szabolcs dropped down in activity (and Heike dropped out of the site). Time to pass on the #2 post to someone else now :)
@rm-rf Well, at some point it really doesn't matter any more, and in any case, in terms of the rep, we're all pretty close. I wonder whether this is a typical situation on SE to have many top users be so close in rep (Mr.Wizard is of course above the competition).
@rm-rf It's funny how this RPG element still works, even after this long. Looks like SE creators found the right strings to pull, in terms of getting people's attention and making sure they become addicted.
