@ciao What often gets me about them is that like 80% of the time it's "Use a For loop to solve this" when that's not often good practice. What bad course are they doing?

@ciao Those are annoying, but arguably just as annoying are the questions like 'solve my integro-differential equation / find the roots of this ten variable order 9 polynomial / maximize this expression symbolically' and various permutations on the theme. Almost always they're boring problems that are likely intractable, can only be given approximate answers with numerical methods, or already have a similar answer somewhere.
@ciao To make matters worse, their titles are always very unhelpful and with poor 'searchability' as many other questions with similar titles already exist. And the problems themselves are often devoid of a connection to reality, in that the question does not describe where the problem came from in the physical world but just provides a bunch of huge expressions with opaque single letter variable names.

@CarlLange That bad course happens just before the bad statistics course they take.
Or they sleep through both classes.
