Is there a single place where I can see all the elections in process without checking each site individually? Something like stackexchange.com/elections would be nice...

To be honest there are only two elections I'd nominate in: Gaming and MSO. MSO is not having any of this nonsense. On Gaming I'd rather have the current mods stay in place.

On the election page many nominations appear grey and are locked (no commenting possible), were those retracted by the authors or what happened to them?

Marc was on that page a few minutes ago, so maybe the devs do have the power to "devalue" low-quality nominations.

Though there's even inconsistency with that, so it's hard to tell.
