@Matt if you do include a link to a query from data.stackexchange.com
then again woodworking isn't on there yet

When does data explorer kick in? Does it even come into play for public beta?
it does, aviation has been beta for a while and it has a data.SE entry
give it a week or so

1 hour later…
15:10
The site even says it... for all graduated and public beta Stack Exchange sites.
Just need to get out of Private and should be fine
Yeah, if there's an issue with SEDE I'll talk to the devs but it doesn't happen until at least public beta.
15:28
Does anyone know the markup i could use for captions? basically smaller text like for images or small notes that dont take focus away from the rest of the text. I think I've seen something used before but I can't find it.
backticks
these guys: `
make it look like this
@Matt Lots of people myself included use Caption (subscript) or Caption (superscript)
@PeterGrace that's for code
@NiallC. Ditto this. I use <sup>[caption](URL to image/image host)</sup> for image captions
@ratchetfreak it works just as well <shrug>
you could also do this
15:35
@Matt Before a year ago or something, the SEDE was actually only for graduated sites.
> by prepending a greater-than symbol it will make the system think it is blockquote text.
@PeterGrace that's prepending
ugh.
sorry, it's a busy day here. I'm not firing on all cylinders.
15:47
bowlturner is a juggernaut.
I was coming back in to say I found which is what I was looking for
Nice, glad to know you're situated
Kept reading MSO until I found someone that used it
16:12
@PeterGrace it just means I spend to much time here... :)
16:29
@bowlturner haha, I hear ya! I work for SE so I get the opportunity to have the stack inbox bar ping me all day long, but you're still kicking my butt in review queue and having great answers.
Am I right in thinking that we'll come out of private beta about this time tomorrow?
@PeterGrace Thanks! I really want Woodworkers to succeed!
@NiallC. maybe, maybe not, the '5 days' is an approximation, we wait at least that long, but since it's doing pretty good it is possible, but...
It's when someone of the staff pushes a button
@bowlturner I'm just thinking that I need to get myself in gear if I want to get my "beta" badge.
But looking at the stats on area 51, we've got 0% fulfilled commitments. That seems wrong...
Those stats don't always mean you think they mean
16:39
@NiallC. 3/30 I think is the scheduled launch
I'm up for doing whatever we can to make this work.
@bowlturner Inconceivable!
I'm pro Woodworkers
@PeterGrace Insider knowledge FTW! :)
@NiallC. Yep, I've gotten smacked around a bit for trying to divert the CM team to do woodworking things while we're still in private beta :)
16:41
@FreeMan ;)
I'm so excited because this is finally a stack site where my true passion lies
Cool to have an inside track on this one!
or insider I should say
@NiallC. We look to be doing well on the first 2 measures, but not so much on the last three... :(
@FreeMan Keep in mind, those are numbers for public beta
it is not unusual to have low hit count during private beta.
Trust me, when it goes public, lots of people are going to be posting about it. lumberjocks.com, facebook groups, I'm gonna pinterest the everloving heck out of it
the numbers we're getting are very good for private beta. We just gotta keep it up

Woot! 1001!

@PeterGrace very good is promising. What are we lacking on and is it possible to improve it? Last I checked our question and answer ratio was slipping
@PeterGrace Ah yes. Well then, we rock!
Everyone pat yourself on the back!!!
Ouch, my shoulder...
*pat

@PeterGrace I love hearing this
17:37
@Matt Well, again it is a private beta. An influx of users will help with that. It will be good that we've already got a "community" going when the new people arrive so we can be as welcoming as possible.

@Matt - The numbers look good for a private beta, pretty strong. They are better than the gamification proposal that I was a part of the private beta on: area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/44478/gamification
That got closed, but it was a close thing.
Oh, and everyone support scale modeling. :p area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/82797/rc-scale-modeling
