Q: We can't pronounce anything

Jeff AtwoodI noticed that the pronunciation tag is not doing well. This is odd, because I migrated Pronunciation for hexadecimals here from SO yesterday and I thought it was a great fit -- totally programmer-centric and something that has confounded me from time to time in talking to my programming peers...

Has anyone here used Mouse Without Borders before? I'm thinking of giving it a try since I'm tired of having multiple mice/keyboards on my desk...

Actually I really want it for the file drag/drop between computers and the simultaneous lock/unlock
Huh... this thing is pretty amazing :) It allows me to use my mouse/keyboard on multiple, different computers as if it were a 2/3/4 monitor display. The drag/drop between windows/machines works great, although the lock/unlock isn't working for me

I just saw a question where the correct answer was one rated -7 could this be some sort of a reputation scam? Question asked has reputation=8, the person who answered has reputation=7

Q: What to do with obsolete code?

Tin CanCode that we no longer use builds up. So what should one do when one doesn't need it anymore? Deleting it feels wasteful, especially large chunks, and there's always the chance the exact same thing will be needed again later. Commenting the code out is nice because it leaves it in place for lat...

@Rachel I won't even try anything like this until a mind-machine interface is invented. It all seems to crippled to use.

@Akash, the answer is what the original poster accepted as being the most useful to him or her. This does not necessarily make it correct seen in the eyes of others, which is very clearly what has happened here.
@Rachel, you might find synergy-foss.org interesting to start with.

@Akash It was migrated from Stack Overflow: it's not uncommon for people to accept way too quickly, before people who know what they're talking about get a chance to write an answer. It's been unaccepted
@Rachel Synergy has done this for 5 or so years across most major operating systems.
Ugh first time chatter. I just assumed my comment would sort of get threaded with her post.

@Richard It does (sort of). If you hover over your message, it highlights her message too. If you click on the arrow to the left of her name, it'll roll the log back to her message

I'm writing a paper for a class of mine, and I need to interview a (or some) professional(s) in the programming field about ethical dilemmas they have faced. Anyone interested in answering a few questions?
