I wonder if the latest edits in math.stackexchange.com/q/4729489/42969 (revisions 3, 4) should be reverted. They add a lot of stuff that was not present in the original question at all. Any opinions?

The changes were probably done with good intentions, but go against the Guidelines for context edits and rewrites IMO.

@MartinR Those additions were reverted by Carlos, but then added again. Edit wars should be avoided therefore we cannot revert it again. I have raised a moderator flag.
