@TeresaLisbon I can't delete, I can only move questions to another chatroom, or to Trash. Your comments are benign. I directly challenged the mod team, or the mod that seems to be the senior mod. You said noting offensive, nothing but expressing your confusion. But if you want them gone, as a room owner, you can move them. I don't have the power to delete.
Trust me, you are not anywhere close to suspension. If Xander, who arrived in this chat at the time of the removal of comments, was likely trying to appease more flak from the users who haunt chats and flag, etc. I trust he is doing his best to protect us.
@Peter We are, but it seems the top senior mod is likely only okay with matters if we strictly request closure, or writ close, similarly with deletion. I think they see a problem when referring to patterns of users looking like targeting. But in the review queue, alone, once can see a pattern of repeated questions/answers, and cannot help but take note of them, all without searching their profile, to "follow or target" their posts.
@Jorge That's already been very clear, and there a lot of us. You don't know us, are what each of us believes. We're not carbon copies of one another. It's equivalent to me saying "I don't agree with you guys that want to keep points from answering obvious poor quality question, and then hold it against those who point this out." It is okay for you to realize you can't answer everything and anything, and pout for awhile. I get it. It's not fun learning it is inappropriate to do much of
@Jorge Well, a lot of people have put their maths to the side and have instead been working very hard to get workable solutions to this, but they all boil down to: students take exams from home. With full access to the internet, and Math.SE. So some sort of policing of this site is...helpful, no?
@Peter No, no need to delete or move comments. You've said nothing since that could possible be construed as problematic. But we've been observed by many users who never participate, some of them sockpuppet accounts of suspended users, and because of the consequences of their poor judgment and the need for suspension, many of them, like Jorge here, blame us for their troubles, when the majority of downvotes etc, requires a vast range of users who've never been here.
@Jorge That is not true. All of us spend a lot of time, here and elsewhere, trying to assist other users who need and want assistance in other chats, and helping clarify the use of this site. It seems to me that you are overgeneralizing, maybe? In any case, you are welcome here anytime, if you change your mind.
Bad content from users in the past shouldn't be held against them in the future. SE's policy has always been that we don't hold grudges and we give people the opportunity to reform. This is why there is no public record of suspensions once those suspensions has passed.

We will follow patterns of users who are consistent troublemakers, including network-wide; however, that is for network moderators who have access to tools to spot people being problematic across the network and doing other things like using sockpuppet accounts, not for regular users to speculate about.
Finding real troublemakers and monitoring them to ensure quality on SE is different from making speculations and rumors about users. If you see users who are consistently contributing negatively to the site, you should flag their posts that are detrimental to the community so that moderators can take a look at the user and keep track of them if needed.
@Jorge Your attitude seems to be that this room is in the wrong and is entirely negative, but you don't seem to consider why it exists or that it might have a positive purpose. Saying you "just don't want to deal with this" come across as "I don't want to have to consider the consequences of my actions, so please ignore my actions".
@hyper-neutrino That is not happening here. No speculation/guesses. We post links to problematic questions and/or answers, never to the OP's profile. So don't believe one disgruntled accusation accusing users here, judging people here, speculating about people here, and not linking to specific concerns they have about specific actions. You're sort contradicting yourself, by allowing some users to judge people, rather than address behavior. But you're quick to scold those doing the same?
@amWhy I am simply following up on what I can see from both discussion in the past hour in this chat, including your own message about moderators disapproving of people in review targeting users, as well as the deleted messages talking about specific users rather than just posts.
@Jorge My meaning of being helpful is the site's meaning of being helpful. I think I am trying to help the site with my actions. So do the people who come here. You can also be helpful. Who is stopping you from answering good quality questions, like you did in a couple of places? Who is stopping you from interacting in comments with users, and helping them improve their questions?
No one is stopping me. But it isn't very palatable when it comes accompanied with having to deal with this sort of stuff.
Last time I started to visit this site the exact same thing happened and I left it for like 4 months and then I came back and the same thing happened and I remembered why I left the last time
But now I am just going to ignore you guys
And I hope that won't cause my account to get banned or something, but I just don't want to deal with this stuff
@Jorge Please do so. But let me reiterate, that I think I am working as per what moderators and community moderators want. As to your account, since you are here and merely clarifying things, I myself assert, a la Voltaire, that I shall defend to death your right to disagree with me.
@hyper-neutrino That is not the norm. Some of us get frustrated, just like users whose posts have been deleted may rant (but are never accosted my any other site mod or CM for doing so. Nor have you addressed the behavior I spoke of, wrt the user who likely flagged. Be consistent please. We will work on things, and get back to our norms. But one hour of transcript, and judging based on that, is doing exactly what you scold users here for doing. Be consistent, how you address various users doing.
@Jorge So we have a gray-zone, right? I have a request. Can we talk about things that we actually AGREE on? Let's take an example , say this question. What do you think you would do here? Kindly speak freely, I have mentioned that I will defend you till my death.
@amWhy Nobody flagged, and I am not scolding or accusing anyone of anything. I am merely reiterating a statement that, based on what conspired in chat, may or may not be relevant. If nobody is doing the behavior I speak of, then that is perfect. If anyone is, I am merely providing reasons why they shouldn't do it and what alternatives they have to ensure site quality, which seems to be the intent of this chat room anyway. I am not accusing nor threatening punishment against anyone.
@hyper-neutrino I appreciate your message, and reminder, and we will renew our commitment to not refer to users, but only posts. I just am naive in hoping that moderators and CMs follow the same advice.
@Jorge So we agree on multiple counts! Now there is an answer there. Yes, the answer is correct. Now, here's a question, what if x,y were actually not real? The OP hasn't specified.
@Jorge What if, for example, the OP was not sure why the real and imaginary parts should be equated? That's what I'm talking about : answers, which come think and fast, come with assumptions regarding the OP's abilities. Let's now monitor that question. But let me also say very gleefully, that we agree on something.
@Jorge Great. Now you see four close votes. Actually, I want to defend the OP a little bit, could have gone off to make coffee or something. But yes, once again I'm happy we agree.
@Jorge This is progressing well, the first thing I'd like to do is thank you for your patience. My next question : we have already said that the OP has not done the right thing in commenting ,and made a rude comment to Jose. Do you think such a user deserves a sacrifice? (Once again you may be completely honest)
@Jorge Excellent. That is the point. Now, if JG and Robert, had instead gone to the comments, or waited for the answer of the question in the comments saying "are x,y real?" then the only thing that they would lose, is reputation.
And let me also come to your statement about users being less rude : yes, you are absolutely correct. It is possible that the OP may not be responding because of the first comment being rude to them (not my opinion).
And yes, users that post super bad questions are also often not rude at all!
@Jorge I see. Let me first tell you, that I hope I have been patient to you and not taken your precious time away in any way. You may tell me anytime you find me irritating.
And with this, I would like to come to the following question : let's say that a kind user had asked that same question, and let's say that this person was asked "are x,y real numbers?" in the comments, for some reason (maybe making coffee!) could be out, and then someone comes and answers it without knowing what the kind user knows and what their background is. Such a user's answer will not be useful at least immediately, is that right?
@Jorge That is a very interesting viewpoint. So, I see your opinion. Let's go a step further : what if the answerer ends up confusing the OP more? Perhaps there's a step they don't understand, perhaps there's something they learnt the opposite way. Then, would you say the answerer is at fault for not anticipating that something like that would happen?
Should an answerer answer a question complete with the confidence that the OP will understand it, or should they answer it with the idea that ok, the OP will probably know everything? The latter could lead to confusion.
@AlexanderGruber I took a 2nd look and I don't understand why the OP questions duplicity. If they hadn't deleted the question they could have pinged me there. Generally I always help in cases like this if there remain things that are not clear. We already have many answers that explain how to solve modular quadratics by CRT.
@Jorge What I see as an issue with confusion, is blind confirmation. If a user did answer a question, and the OP makes no effort to verify the answer, then does it not equate to mere spoonfeeding? Sometimes I've seen answers which are wrong and accepted.
@Jorge I'm going to make a small request, but before that, I'd like to once again thank you for participating with me. I'd like you to come here to my chatroom, because CURED is kind of the wrong place for our discussion, it seems. It is your call.
@AlexanderGruber Yes, frustration (and deletion) are, alas, common responses. I do monitor my dupe closures for a few days to help ensure that all questions get answered. The last thing we want to occur is for dupe closures to inhibit learning. OTOH we can't force those looking to be spoonfed to follow the dupe links and spend the small effort to comprehend how they apply (general remark not meant to apply to here).
@amWhy One delete vote left on answer. One downvote left for question. Thanks
[PSQ](https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/4090052/integrate-3x2-1-3) The answer below is reflective of the mathematical genius of the user, but I can't make an exception for that.
Re: the deleted comments above: I am sorry that I deleted comments without explanation---I didn't think that it was going to be that big of a deal. The deleted comments regarded the discussion of a particular user. Even though the discussion was roundabout, I would implore y'all (once again) to focus on content, not users.
It isn't a huge deal, and no one is being punished or chastised---I just want to re-emphasize the scrutiny that this room gets both from within the Math SE community, and from the larger SE network.

Again, I apologize for not commenting at the time---I checked in here five minutes before class started, just to see what the haps was, and saw something which I was worried would create controversy. I dealt with it, but didn't take the time to explain myself.
