Yesterday I suggested a duplicate here, but one commenter and 3 reviewers disagreed, even though the accepted answers to the two questions are identical up to the change of variables I alluded to in my comment. As a result two close votes are still needed, if anyone has some to spare.

@user21820 I find D5 (which is now deleted) rather puzzling : the first thing that went to my mind when I read the question was the upvoted answer, but the asker dismissed it as "not what they asked" and accepted an answer that seems almost irrelevant.

@ArnaudD. Well, it's not surprising that a post arising from laziness could be an unclear inquiry. I have stopped being surprised by how poor the poor quality questions can get.
