An older PSQ (interesting question, but no context)

@ZacharySelk I won't answer it because some jokers on Math Meta do not like hard facts. However, I'll point out that your observations are exactly in line with supporting my points here and in the comments and in this room on the issue. In a perfect Math SE, we do not need deletion, much less quick deletion. But sorry we're in a very imperfect SE system where abusers of course want to preserve the imperfections, and so quick deletion is needful.
@XanderHenderson @ZacharySelk: By the way, there are a couple of stuff on the star board that needs more votes, if you have any to spare. =)

5:36 AM
@ZacharySelk: In case it wasn't clear, I totally support your Meta post but I'm afraid there's just going to be not much improvement to the situation.
@amWhy Of course something is wrong. Let's see what rubbish is being spouted there: (1) "number of y per number of x"; (2) "scalar of x"; (3) "slope of between two points"; (4) "rate of change of the y-axis"; (5) "slope is defined as the ratio Δy/Δx [where none of these are defined anywhere]".
@Did @CarlMummert: Need your help to delete the above-mentioned junk, if you don't mind. =)
@amWhy I think this one is okay to undelete, given the asker's response in editing the question and in a comment to Jyrki.

This is a non-answer. I don't understand how it has garnered 19 upvotes.

@XanderHenderson m,n are integers so n must be a divisor of 4.

3:23 PM
@user21820 Didn't I say that?

@XanderHenderson You said it's a non-answer. I think it's fine as a hint.

Oh, that answer.
Perhaps I just don't like Hints-as-Answer very much :\

@XanderHenderson Well there are differing opinions on that, so take your pick. =)

3:40 PM
Indeed. Don't hold it against me? ;)

4:31 PM
PSQ: Do three proofs for me needs to be closed.

4:50 PM
One sentence PSQ needs to be closed, IMHO

I am all out of votes :\

6:51 PM
@XanderHenderson :(
@XanderHenderson close votes, upvotes/downvotes all?
@XanderHenderson I feel the pain!

@amWhy So I've got votes, but I don't know enough to be convinced that this one is a bad question.

@MikePierce The OP hasn't bothered to include any indication that they''ve worked on the problem, reread the text, where they are stuck, what they've considered, etc. But it's okay to disagree with me. The bigger problem I linked today is the one linked immediately above the link you are responding to. Which is now closed.

7:07 PM
@amWhy Yeah, that one above is bad. But I'd only think it right to close the martingale question if I knew the OP could come up with an answer quickly if only they thought about it for half a second (which from the comments appears to be the case). Is this the case?

@MikePierce The thing is, I require a minimum of 600 times that amount of the time of 0.5 seconds, that's a minumum: I expect an asker to spend at least five minutes before coming to MSE's do-my-homework-for-me-free-of-charge service.

@amWhy All the votes. I have none left.

@XanderHenderson I bet you can still delete very very very poor closed questions? Or have you run through those too? ;)

I still have a couple of delete votes, I think.

@XanderHenderson What question? =P

The one that has since been deleted. :P

I don't even... what?!

HNQ? PSQ?

@MikePierce Highly non-relavant question. Pretty scary question... :P No seriously: HNQ is a "hot network question", and "PSQ" is a "Problem statement question. Period", meaning posted as though copied and pasted from an assigned exercise, typically written in the imperative mood. E.g., Prove that if $y=x$, then $y^2 = x^2$... or "Solve..." or "Evaluate..." or "Simplify..."
And PSQ's are frequently accompanied by "I don't have a clue. Please help me!" or some variant.
