I do not see any strong preference between them.
In both cases the accepted answer is the answer using Fermat's last theorem.
Shall we go by age in the choice of the duplicate target?
Interestingly, this one was closed as a duplicate of a question about square root: Is $n^{th}$ root of $2$ an irrational number?
Why, oh why, do they use that sledgehammer to fasten a screw?
@DanielFischer There are other also other, more serious answer. But it is quite an interesting curiosity.
I opted for the oldest one as the target.
I think it is worth mentioning in such thread. (I think I saw this proof in some big-list post on MO for the first time.)
Although I am surprise to see it as accepted answer. But, well, that's the OPs choice.
@DanielFischer So you suggest to close both questions I listed as duplicates of that one, right?
@MartinSleziak I went ahead and marked them as duplicates already.

It's is a pity that the one which stays open does not contain the proof based on FLT. :-)
I like a good mosquito-nuking every now and then, but only in jest.
But it is at least mentioned in the comments.
@Max: pretty much the worst way to do this problem... — Qiaochu Yuan Nov 26 '10 at 1:09
@MartinSleziak I am not sure whether this one should be closed. (We can hardly call those questions exact duplicates.) Although the answers there address the more general question. It is probably not worth the fuss. (And probably it is best if it stays this way.)
@MartinSleziak Yes, I've been wondering too.
