@PrasunBiswas Just a advice: It is not a good practice to specifically point out a user for his bad work. You can just give a hint of user name like OP of deleted question

Hey J! (@JitendraSingh). ;D

@SmokeDetector What exactly does blacklisted user (71) mean?

@amWhy I remember this question had come up recently once before, too...
Sep 22 at 15:01, by Joe
What is a "blacklisted user"?
Sep 22 at 15:07, by The Amplitwist
@Joe I'm not sure, but you may be able to find relevant information on the SmokeDetector's wiki. For instance, here: Guidance for Blacklisting and Watching.
Sep 22 at 15:11, by Joe
@TheAmplitwist: Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, the guidance seems a little opaque: "Each SmokeDetector instance maintains a very dynamic list of users which are 'blacklisted'. Users are added to the user blacklist when a post they created receives tpu feedback." I have no idea what "tpu" means.

4:02 PM
@TheAmplitwist I went there, as well, (the Guidance), but found it opaque, like you did! ;). I think it does not necessitate immediate deletion, but rather, the feed gives us to take a close look at the given post, or "heads up".

@amWhy Yes, that's what I take away from it, too.

4:25 PM
@amWhy If you click on the "MS" you can find the post which made them blacklisted. For arthur, it was this post, and you have to go into the revision history to see that at the post once read "????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????", which I guess was the trigger.

@user1729 Got it! Thank you!

5:23 PM
@JoséCarlosSantos Lol one commenter even flogged that post!

@user21820 I didn't think "flogging" was allowed on this site. And what does it mean to "flog" a user, virtually? =P

@amWhy It's allowed when spelling accuracy flags.

@user21820 I'm teasing your use of "flogged"
I'm just joking, that's all. I knew very well what you meant, @user21820.

@amWhy And I'm using another meaning of "flag" (weaken). =P

@user21820 d= =p Rotation involved

@user21820 Thanks for the closure. Actually, this post received an upvote.

D - reopen vote ...

@Peter I get you might be afraid to acknowledge me. That's fine. You can do your own thing.

@amWhy You are right. I should appreciate your votes helping to clean the site. So, thank you for your contributions.

@Peter That post has been undeleted.

6:38 PM
Any D's for the day, @user21820? Yesterday, there weren't to many so I spent 12 delete votes using moderator tools.!

@amWhy None directly from me for today.
^ @XanderHenderson @Peter @Saad: Plain PSQ undeleted 3 years later...

@user21820 All it took was anyone who can protect a question, to unprotect it. I just did). The comment you refer to was from a user who did not yet know about what protected question meant then in his first year on the site; it means only that users with less that 5 rep can't post an answer. I wish they renamed that action, so it does not conger images of "inevitability of not touching it".

@amWhy Oh actually I didn't really think about the 'protection'. It's just that this kind of undeletion is what makes the EOQS necessary, in my opinion. CC @TheSimpliFire

6:53 PM
@user21820 It would have been less confusing to just link the question.

Yea you're right.

@user21820 But your clarification was sufficient. Thanks.

Q: Is the Collatz conjecture related to the existence of base-10 Lychrel numbers?

RexcirusAre the Collatz conjecture and the existence of base 10 Lychrel numbers related? Can we learn anything about the solution to the first by solving the second and viceversa? Both problem involve an iterative process which "reshuffles" the current number. Both problems have an "attractor", that is t...
