To me that really seems like spam. (Or at very least I don't see the point of including the link to the website in the post.)
If even spam posts get upvotes, maybe the claim that Mathematics is unfriendly to new users are a bit exaggerated.

I did a little experiment by holding a translucent plastic container to some closed blinds on a bright sunny day. I think the even discretization of the light ...

I think strongly that this soft question is not sufficiently focused, and moreso, it is fundamentally seeking personal advice.

Can I ask more experienced members how to treat this sort of question math.stackexchange.com/questions/3555555/… ?
I know how to solve, it's not an easy question, it would require a quite extensive answer. I'm bothered by the question itself. It's not exactly a PSQ, but close, the asker gives some (relevant) thoughts without actually showing any work,
However, I've seen similarly phrased questions that were well received by the community (see math.stackexchange.com/questions/3485380/…)
How should I deal with it? Is it ok to answer it as it is or should I ask the asker to show more work?

The question received two upvotes, so I decided to write the answer. I would still appreciate some input on how to deal with this type of questions in the future.
