This question about summing k-th powers was closed as a duplicate (with links to two more possible duplicate targets in the comments). Then it was reopened (and answered) by a gold-badge holder, which is not justified in my opinion. The new answer does not add anything to the existing solutions, as far as I can see.

@RRL All but two are deleted now, but I lost track of the two that each need one more delete vote.

Here's a case where some extra moderation is needed - this answer has been deleted, but it's to a question which is essentially a reference request, and the OP confirmed that this solved their problem by an answer which should have been a comment. I'm not sure, but I think the right thing to do would be to swap the deletion status of the two answers, but I am open to suggestions and other opinions.
