Today I stumbled upon this useless answer which can be deleted in my opinion (a CAS dump without any explanation). OP did not improve the answer in the last four years, therefore it does not matter that he can not defend himself currently.
I just noticed that all answers to Show that all roots of a Polynomial must be real numbers have been deleted and the question locked, because it is from an active contest. That's fine with me, but what I am missing are the “comments below for references to the originating contest.”
@XanderHenderson: ^ Can you add a link or some information about the ongoing contest?
@XanderHenderson Ok, I see. – Perhaps you can add some explaining comment to the question because the locked notice explicitly refers to it (just a suggestion).
@ArcticChar I didn't have enough delete votes left today to vote on two of your posts, but I voted to delete all others that weren't already deleted. I'll check again tomorrow.
@XanderHenderson Indeed, I was one of the two who rejected it. But in light of the two comments/feeds from SmokeDetector about that user, it seemed that in a relatively short period of time that user was bent on causing trouble. But I just saw that user account is gone, so indeed, it's been handled. Thanks for the info!
