Btw, I wonder if deletion votes for answers share the quota with those for questions. In other words, is it true that the questions and the answers that I can vote to delete cannot exceed 15 in total?

My guess is that the quota is for number of delete votes on posts (i.e. both questions and answers). But a quick search did not lead me to something where this is explicitly confirmed.
Does this answer do more than repeating the question? – Question: “If I substitute z=x+iy then \sqrt{ x^2 +(y-1)^2}+\sqrt {x^2 +(y+1)^2} = 1” – Answer: “Hint: With z= x+iy ... this is \sqrt{x^2+(y-1)^2}+\sqrt{x^2+(y+1)^2}=1”
