@RRL @Lord_Farin @XanderHenderson @Saad: As @TheSimpliFire said yesterday, this post is not an answer, and it is also bad to cite WA when it often gives the Wrong Answer.

@user21820 I seem to have already flagged it.
I see. If any 4 of the 6 of us downvote it, we can vote to delete it. If not, then nobody can except moderators. It's just too bad that NAA flags are like flipping coins.
@user21820 it is at -1 now

@XanderHenderson Ok thanks it's up for deletion now. @RRL @Saad

@user21820 Now converted to a commend by quid. I can't believe it got 3 upvotes.

@BillDubuque Ah I see, thanks for informing me! HNQ tends to bring drive-by upvotes, but nobody can really tell for sure where they come from anyway.

Missing context or other details (No Roomba: accepted answer) sum and product of complex numbers‭ - Franco Cabrera Ferrari‭ 2019-03-05 23:56:18Z
@Xander I think it is good to have a reply to this still. The sequence of questions came across like you had already made up your mind and were calling him out on inconsistent behaviour. There was no sense of interest in a genuine discussion.
Primarily this feeling was triggered by "how do you justify" which will provoke a defensive response from anyone addressed by it, and the sequence of possible motivations and their refutation that followed it.
It is not that I have a problem with asking for the motivation for certain actions, but the way the questions were formulated was not productive IMO.
@Lord_Farin To be fair, the roles are often reversed in the situation you're describing. So one could be forgiven for falling into that pattern. But that doesn't change that I agree with the whole sentiment! :)
On another note, I have seen quite some requests for deletion in the past time that were already posted within the regular incubation period of two days after closure (sometimes within two days of posting the question).
I would suggest that we try to stick with leaving some days for people to possibly improve questions. There's plenty of other candidate material...
@rschwieb Yeah, I understand that, too. But since it is a pattern that tends to reinforce itself, I thought I'd say something.
I like the general civility around here. Even if there are disagreements now and then.
@Lord_Farin Me too. We all need to protect that feature, when necessary.
