Possibly close this question as a dupe of this newer question which encompasses the previous question and more?
ouch
nvm I forgot that I have the calculus dupe hammer...

@SimplyBeautifulArt The older question asks for a construction by “elementary functions, or by integral formula ...” and is answered in the negative. Your answer to the newer question is positive. Are the answers to the older question wrong? Or does your answer use more operations than the above mentioned? In the latter case, it would not be a duplicate. – (I am not an expert on this topic, so I might be overlooking something obvious.)

@MartinR my series is by no means elementary :P
Well
Whoops

12:44 PM
@SimplyBeautifulArt Then it is not a duplicate.

@SimplyBeautifulArt Roughly speaking, the older question asks for “elementary functions” and the newer question for “piecewise elementary functions.” If the answer for the newer question were “NO” as well then one could consider it as generalization and close the older one as a duplicate. But actually you link back to the older answer, and then provide a construction with is neither “elementary” nor “piecewise elementary.”
I would suggest to reopen the older question (which has good answers which actually answer the question).

Hello! I had just been stopping by briefly.

@ArnaudD. Thanks!

@Saad I didn't do anything actually, I just wanted to signal that it was done for others :p

@Saad gone (d1-d4).
Another PSQ, in need of closure.

NCWQ?

@Holo Did you read what is written in the quotation marks?

@amWhy Sorry, for some reason this last few days I can't finish a full sentence :/

@amWhy The PSQ is gone. The NCWQ doesn't deserve to be described like that anymore, but I think that it is still a very poor question. What do you think?

@JoséCarlosSantos I agree with you.
@amWhy It is no longer fitting to describe this question as a NCQ; however, the question remains poor. Perhaps a helpful comment describing to the asker how to further improve the question is appropriate. The asker seems to be responsive to feedback. That's a big plus!

Wow, that's fast.
Note that we managed to close the gap: the "focused attention query" is now emptied except for the daily influx!

@Lord_Farin Only 11 and 12 remain, each in need of only one more delete vote.
@Lord_Farin Awesome accomplishment!

Q: What is our question deletion policy?

jgonI've recently become a 10k plus user, and I was taking a look at the moderation tools, specifically the deletion votes section. As I was looking at the questions nominated for deletion, it struck me that I don't know what our question deletion policy is. I gave it a search, but didn't turn anyth...
