@Holo I made this minor edit merely in order to bump this meta question. Instead of making malicious guess about others' thoughts, why not gathering enough evidence first to judge others?
@XanderHenderson Maybe using bold face is entirely polite? I don't know where comes this "entirely" thing.

Please make edits to improve posts, not to bump them. Thanks!

@user302797 You were not pingable, hence there was no way to know your motivation nor to ask you about it. That being said, I don't see anyone "judging" you; just speculating about your motivations.
@user302797 I don't follow what you are saying here. Are you objecting to the fact that I emphasized the fact that one of the three changes you made was actually incorrect?

Still, feel rude
@XanderHenderson Why using bold face as in wrong?

@user302797 Bold face is for emphasis. amWhy objected to the fact that the edit was trivial; I objected to the fact that it was not only trivial, but incorrect (you capitalized the first letter of a word following a colon; this was a grammatically incorrect edit).
The only other edits you made were to remove contractions, which are a matter of style, and were entirely appropriate in the original version of the question.
As to @Holo's comment, he was suggesting that it is rude to bump old questions via trivial edits. As stated above by @MikeMiller, edits are for improving questions, not bumping them.

@user21820 I thought 5 and 8 were posted by the same user.

@Saad Um yea? You agree that both are poor questions, right?
no-context-questions, to be precise.

8:22 AM
@user21820 I have no objection to that. I was wondering why this person created two accounts, both of which have 2k+ rep.

@Saad Oh they are different accounts? I totally didn't notice!! Time to inform @quid and @AlexanderGruber.
Multiple accounts are not in themselves against the rules, unless one is used to vote on posts by the other.
Or to circumvent suspension.

A: How should sockpuppets be handled on Stack Exchange?

Shog9How can I be sure I'm looking at a sockpuppet? You can't ever be 100% sure. What you think is a sockpuppet could in fact be my good friend Nog Shine, who loves everything I write, copies my writing style, and uses my computer to vote and post stuff when I step away for coffee. But in practice, ...

@DevashishKaushik It's been edited before the answers were posted. Though it's still poor, it's likely a new user who is trying.
@DevashishKaushik Voted to close.

@user21820 I saw the edit, but still seems very LQ to me.

@DevashishKaushik Agreed.

It is certainly possible that this particular user tried genuinely but Problem Statement I want answer XX. I tried - <Multiply some stuff> = YY seems to have pretty much become a standard template to post such things.

Definitely if there is a pattern then it's bad.

@DevashishKaushik Accurate description of the phenomenon.

@DevashishKaushik Indeed. :-(

@XanderHenderson What's wrong with the capital? It's a sentence following a colon, so requires a capital surely?

@user334732 No. It is not a sentence following a colon; a colon does not end a sentence. It is part of the previous sentence, and should not be capitalized.

@AlexanderGruber. I am anxious to see the next step with this question. I don't want to be a bother or rush you or anything like that but I hope you'll ping me if/when you decide to do something with it.

@Mason if it's about MO, I'd recommend to just ask it there if you want, with a link and maybe slightly modified. Migration is not all that useful.
The last comment is a general remark.
Most of the time a delayed and linked cross-post is better.
Bonus points for keeping the other version up to date.

Man. I wish I would have known this earlier.
@quid. Thanks.
I asked that question a while back here in Crude but heard only crickets so I ended up flagging it and asking for input.

@AlexanderGruber. Done
@quid. Done.
