Since I don't feel there has been much constructive discussion relating to the question posed here which doesn't even exist, and that everything that has been constructive has already been said elsewhere, I'm voting to delete this question. — Simply Beautiful Art 15 secs ago

@Did @amWhy @LeakyNun: It seems everyday I come across answers by users who don't even know the basics of the topic of the question they are attempting to answer... Like this (see the author's ridiculous comment!). Worse still, it's accepted.

@Did @amWhy @LeakyNun: This is a misleading answer that suggests induction is not necessary when it is, and the poster does not seem willing to fix it, as per comments.
@amWhy @LeakyNun: The above and this one are examples of misleading or wrong posts that the author refuses to fix.
@amWhy Indeed. We need more downvotes to delete it.

@user21820 pure drama...

@LeakyNun: The third one above has multiple problems. It makes a patently wrong claim about the twin-prime conjecture and the Collatz conjecture, and an unjustified claim about e+π, and despite a couple of comments from me refuses to fix it.
This is what I can't stand; people who are so proud and stubborn that they would rather leave falsehoods floating around.

@user21820 the third one above... where is twin-prime or Collatz mentioned?

@LeakyNun Uh the third one is the link in the starred message. It's clearly mentioned in the list.

but what is the patently wrong claim?

@LeakyNun That if those two are unprovable then they are true. That only holds for Π1-sentences. Those two are Π2-sentences (as far as we know).

I guess that the fact that more users being here is partially due to room being mentioned in my answer to: Request in chat to downvote a specific answer.
I'll address this mainly to the regular of this room: If you think that there is something important I should mention there about the room, let me know.
The question is not actually about this room - so I am not too happy that my answer digresses from the discussion. But since the OP explicitly said that from comments it seems to him that this is not the right place for such discussions, i wanted to add a more detailed explanation.

This question math.stackexchange.com/questions/2558382/… is an exact duplicate of another question math.stackexchange.com/questions/2557630/…. The later has not yet received any answers, so I can't marking this as a duplicate.

@GNUSupporter Does not matter. It is a lousy question and closing it can be justified (even if not as duplicate).

@GNUSupporter I downvote the "dupe" and voted to close it. I also provided a link to the earliest post in a comment on the later post stating that it was an exact duplicate of the original. Thanks for the post here!
Oops, sorry, @GNUSupporter The latter has been closed, and I posted a comment with a link to the first post, addressing the user who voted to reopen the duplicate.

@SimplyBeautifulArt, @user21820, @ZacharySelk, @Did One more downvote needed to open the question for deletion. math.stackexchange.com/questions/2557292/…
@GNUSupporter @ I kind of messed up my comments. The post you linked to, is now closed; I also flagged it for the mods. And in a comment on the same post (that you linked), I linked readers to the original of the two questions. I just read over my earlier comments to you, and realized they were very unclear.
Hi, @JohnA. Welcome!

@amWhy Nvm. It takes energy to do math in front of the computer. I used confusing adjectives to refer to these two posts.
The earlier post asked by Thomas Yang is still open (despite having three close votes).
The later by D.Li has been closed. So the right thing has been done as long as the earlier post doesn't attract more close votes.

@GNUSupporter Well, I did vote to close the post by Thomas Yang, as well. Thanks for posting about the two posts.
@SimplyBeautifulArt, @user21820, @Did, @ZacharySelk Another PSQ that needs to be closed
Hi, @Nilknarf Haven't seen you for a while (but then I haven't visited SBA Calc & Anal recently either!

10:54 PM
@amWhy Hi!
Um. Is that a typo?
Oh never mind. My bad for not realizing that that was short for analysis D:
I just thought I'd have a look at this room :P

11:11 PM
@Nilknarf That's funny, now that I read it literally!

Personally, I prefer funky anal over calc & anal, but to each their own.

11:42 PM
@XanderHenderson Haha XD
