@Bebs We (the mods) don't actually get to set policy. If you want to change the policy, you have to get a significant number of site users to vote for a new policy. That's how all the SE sites work, and the community moderators (people who actually work for SE as employees) have been known to warn, censure, or even remove mods who violate SE rules (such as trying to set or enforce their own site policies).

Significant number usually means at least 10 for a small site like this one. And yes, mods are site users, so we can vote on policies too, but that's only three people, which is not enough to be considered a consensus.
