I'm not sure what the usage of the tag language is (it currently lacks a wiki and excerpt).

Sometimes it's used with the intention as (identify-this-language), a tag which does not exist.

Sometimes it's used when the question is about the lyrics of a song that is in an unknown language or not in English. In which case, it is really overlapping heavily with the lyrics tag, and not adding anything much more.

Sometimes its used when the question is about pronunciation.

I think it's a good idea to pin down asap what exactly we want the scope of the tag to be and fill out the wiki and excerpt. There are only 13 questions with this tag right now, so if any retagging is required then we will be able to do it easily.

@Bebs @Donald.McLean @ChrisSunami I'm thinking i might be more convenient to collect all these tasks together in one spot, like a Meta post titled "Tag Management" where issues related to different tags can be posted as answers. I believe it will be easier that way than to keep scrolling into the history of the chat. Plus, updates can be made via edits to the answers and discussions can be had in the comments (which can also be moved here easily if it gets too long).
