concur. Try it yourself, ask here for guidence, and go to a LBS if it gets beyond comfortable.

Luckily, I live in Somerville, MA, USA and there are a crapload of bike shops to choose from. :-)

I use the LBS for supply and sometimes opinions, but have only got something fixed there twice.

One was a final wheel true

One was a FD fitting that I couldn't get right. Both the same bike too.

I'm pretty confident in my ability to take disc rotors off and on again, and to replace the pads, but any sort of calibration or adjustment is a bit of a mystery to me, if that gives you a sense of where I am. :-)

(I knew how to adjust rim brakes just fine. I have to relearn everything know that I have discs.)

Both my jobs I'd done most of the work - assembled the wheel from parts but couldn't get the offset right for the rear wheel to run true

the FD I'd already stripped two cos it kept slipping down on me

an FD mech here is about $70 so it was getting expensive

@Criggie No, there aren't any for 203mm. First one I found on Amazon, some kid's tire. Actually I haven't had problems with marathons on 622mm and 406mm in a long time and I almost exlusively use Schwalbe Marathon tires. Mounting that 203mm tire was like an order of magnitude more difficult.

And it's summer here, they were warm.

@gschenk Yeah, finally some more sensible temperatures. Currently I'm still close to my melting point whenever I step out into the sun. :)

Although I would prefer the days to stay as long as they are, high temperatures are impractical for me, but I love the sun. :)

I've checked the timetable for the Worlds today. Nearly went there a week to early. Planned to see the start elite road races and go this weekend

They are staying in Kufstein, that's about 5k from where I grew up.
