happy thanksgiving
p.s. I'm never going to get as many positive votes as I did on the nut-cushion question and thus will have to bear that infamy forever.... :-( - oct 16 at 16:57 by RoboKaren
@RoboKaren - thats the case with a lot of answers. my highest upvoted one was about going the wrong way in a bikelane
which is just stupid

4:23 PM
avid single digit 7's are being recalled

3 hours later…
7:01 PM
So - elliptigo were a bit budget ? Who would have thought ?

I like this chart
a 50% gradient is 26.6 degrees off the horizontal
a 10% gradient is only 5.71 degrees up from horizontal

8:20 PM
@Criggie - huh?

batman: to your huh I say wha'?
OK its not a chart, its a protractor

elliptigo

Oh yeah - it was mentioned in that brake recall you listed.
that the brakes recalled had been used on that bike.

yeah. one of my bikes has the front and rear of that brake
i bought one brake from amazon 2 years ago
and they gave me a refund
other one was bought from REI. i emailed them to let them know the brake was recalled. though i suspect ill have to deal with sram for the brake

Nice Yeah rivets aren't the ideal fastener for a bike. Was it the rivet on the noodle holder?
Easy enough to drill out and replace with a HT bolt.

8:30 PM
i think itsthe noodle holder
not sure what else on the brake could be a rivet

yah - could be spontaneous adrenaline should that pop off. But a HT bolt and a nylock nut or two normal nuts would be ample to fix it.
I've been looking around for decent V brake arms for one bike and can't find anything high end. Its like everything is disks now :-\
I have a single side of a deore V brake and mix/match is doesn't really work :)
