just had a read of their site, says 100% made in italy
so who knows
suppose glasses are a good candidate for european manufacture

The reason is to be found in small batch sizes, automated production, integrated CAE workflow, and they do not have time to wait for shipping from China when interacting with the fashion houses.

Its an on-topic answer that shows someone's opinion. And all the downvotes show its not well-received

I am reminded of the Henny Youngman joke: "Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I do this" "Don't do that." Generally I want to trust people to judge whether an answer is useful, and in this case, people can. I don't think the answer was trolling. I do think telling someone who obviously wants to ride fast to ride slow is denying the legitimacy of the question, which is not cool. I could go either way.

@Criggie Luxotica tries to get a world wide monopoly on frames for glasses. They are very close to it in Europe and the US. They also control most of retail for example with sunglass hut. This allows them to raise retail price as they please.
 
@AdamRice Nah - original question was about relative safety between MTB and road bike (ie dropbars)
