Q: What's the room number for Cuba Gooding jr?

EnigmaInspired by this puzzle, I have made this similar puzzle (the solution method is NOT identical) In a hotel there are ten floors, with ten rooms at each floor. Currently 10 rooms are occupied. In room 13 Mr. Nelson is staying his last day. In room 21 Angela is hanging up a "Malerei" that has f...

Enigma's fourth hint says that the first leg of this puzzle consists of one date per room.
* Zlatan Ibrahimovic was born 03.10.1981 (room 62)
* Martin Luther King's speech "I have a dream" was on 28.08.1963 (room 51)
* Nelson Mandela died on 05.12.2013 (room 13)
* Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was shot by Gavrilo Princip on 28.06.1914

* Joseph Ratzinger succeded John Paul II as Pope on 16.04.2005 (room 39)
* The Berlin Wall fell on 09.11.1989 (Angela and "Malerei" hint at Germany) (room 21)

Pierce Brosnan played in Around the World in Eighty Days. In this movie, Phileas Fogg travels the world and arrives back in London 21-Dec-1872.
Around the World in Eighty Days (French: Le tour du monde en quatre-vingts jours) is a classic adventure novel by the French writer Jules Verne, published in 1873. In the story, Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a £20,000 wager (roughly £1.6 million today) set by his friends at the Reform Club. It is one of Verne's most acclaimed works. == Plot summary == The story starts in London on Tuesday, October 1, 1872. Fogg is a rich English gentleman living in solitude. Despite his wealth, Fogg lives a modest life with...

Very nice puzzle. I might have a partial solution: Gavrilo Princip was the assassin of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. Princip died at age 23.
Is Mrs. Carla referring to Carly Fiorina, former CEO of HP (1999-2005)?
1. Malerei is German for painting. 2. Angela Merkel was once the Chancellor of Federal Republic of Germany, who became active after the 'fall' of the Berlin 'wall'.
'Pierce' Brosnan acted in 'Around the World in 80 days' (1989)
Joseph Smith (1805-1844), founder of Mormonism, died at age 38 (the room number is 39, but that might be a minor mistake). Smith was an Apostle for the Mormons, as Paul was for the Old Christians.
I believe 51 refers to MLK, Jr. My guess is that each of the numbers is the result of some formula involving an important date or two.

Since we're getting rolling Nelson Mandela was in office until 14 June 1999, making the 13 his last day.
@Otaia MLK, Jr. got his Bachelor of Divinity in 1951.
@Otaia Alternatively, he was born on the 15 January.
Nelson Mandela died on 5th December in 2013

Zwedish football probably refers to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, born 03.10.1981.
Note: be aware that first hint explicely states that this is a TWO-legged puzzle...
Joseph/Paul may also refer to Pope John Paul II, who was succeeded by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (aka Benedict XVI).
Allsvenskan is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs.A total of 62 clubs have played in Allsvenskan from its inception in 1924 up to and including the 2014-15 season.
The fact that Swedish has been misspelled as Zweidish has been probably done on purpose, perhaps referring to Zlatan Ibrahimovic(who has been previously mentioned by MrLemon)

@TheDragonista Or it could be Martin Luther 'King's famous speech, 'I have a dream', given on 28/08/1963
probably, but in that case, what is the relation with the room number?
21:40
@TheDragonista Not known yet, but your hint does not indicate the word 'dream' in any way. We are only speculating, so we could both be wrong.
agreed, we're getting nowhere with this puzzle/problem
Maybe the numbers are in another base, such as hexadecimal.
@The Dragonista Fourth hint is now revealed...
Thanks!! this problem has surely got me tangled up
@TheDragonista If it is too easy, it wouldn't be any fun:-)
21:40
@Enigma exactly!!
"small and gentle computer" clearly refers to Microsoft. Micro=small, soft=gentle.
With Matt's help, i have got the following information, In 1988, Apple sued Microsoft for infringing on the patents regarding the look and feel of its operating system (P.S- I think we're making progress)
@TheDragonista you are missing the point. It is a two-legged puzzle. Each hint would not reveal the answer directly, but will demonstrate a certain pattern (which is leg two)
ahhhh!!! so first i figure the pattern, from which i get the answer?!
@TheDragonista yes, but you need to solve most of the hints to actually understand the pattern. When you solve the pattern, the answer should be relatively easy.
@TheDragonista You could maybe take a look at the puzzle where I got my inspiration, and benefit from that...?
21:40
Yeah!!! I should probably have a look at that
** Chat room ** To simplify our discussions, I have opened a chat-room on this puzzle: chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/21065/cuba-gooding-jr
@Gamow 5 out of the 7 hints proposed on chat are correct. Keep up the good work!

I've migrated the comments from the question to chat, as they were mostly a discussion that would be better served here.
