I like to go through old questions at night and edit the ones that need fixed... should I be doing that?
If yes, is it OK to "spam" the front page a bit with edits since it's kind of inactive at this point?

@YannisRizos voting reversal script did it work; I flagged one of the mis-voted posts as you advised

Hey, I have some followup to this question, hoping someone can help:

Q: How is Pash licensed?

Jay BazuziPash is an open source reimplementation of Windows PowerShell. It was released in 2008, and has been idle since then. I would like to take up the mantle. It's not clear what the license is. There is no LICENSE file or license details in the code. The only reference to a license I can find is o...

I'm forking Pash and want to get this license stuff sorted out before I devote a bunch of time to the project.
1. Should I create a LICENSE file with the text of both GPL and BSD licenses in it? Or two different LICENSE files?
2. Should I put a copyright/license comment at the top of each source file with both licenses in it?
Hmm, now that I've asked here, I think I know how to write it as a general-interest question on the main site.

Q: How to document a dual open source license?

Jay BazuziIf a project is dual-licensed GPL & BSD, should there be one LICENSE file with the text of both licenses? Or two separate files, one for each license? And I think I should put a copyright/license comment at the top of each source file. How should that comment indicate the dual-licensed statu...

I have another question, that I don't think is general enough for the main site, though.
After Pash was released in 2008, someone else made a fork of it under the MIT license.
I think normally you'd have to get special permission to do that - to go from GPL+BSD to MIT.
As far as I can tell, he was working closely with the original create of Pash, so he may have had that permission.
He also wrote the copyright messages as:
> Copyright (C) 2008 Contributors; Pash Development Team
I'm not sure who exactly is included in "Pash Development Team"
Since I'm not completely certain that he had permission to use change the license to MIT, I worry that if I pick up the changes, I could run in to trouble later.
I have tried emailing both the original creator of Pash and the person who did the fork, but they haven't responded.

It seems like we get the bulk of the days bad questions from 2:00 am UTC- 2:00 pm UTC... oddly enough, and this gets worse on weekends

Calculus III or Automata...decisions decisions...I don't require either, it's just cheaper for me take 12 hours over 8 hours...
