It seems that I am “serially upvoting harassed”: 30 upvotes in 4 minutes yesterday, and 21 upvotes in 2 minutes today. I have no idea who that does or why, but perhaps someone is trying do discredit me. This looks very bad on my reputation tab and I am a bit afraid that – if that continuous –I might be penalized for voting irregularities. I already raised a moderator flag. It would be very nice if some moderator could find the cause and prevent it. Thanks!

@MartinR I think the "why" is just "to annoy you". I'm not sure why they want to annoy you, but that doesn't matter much. Either they stop now or they don't. Their decision, their consequences.

@AlexanderGruber Agreed. I guess we all need to discuss how to best implement it. For example, the Sponsors (and everybody else) can advertise their projects in that chatroom. But opinions may differ whether they can also advertise in, say, a dedicated meta thread. I sorta see the point of using meta to get even more visibility. But such ads would necessarily also draw attention to the person of the sponsor, and that is not the point. Other things will also need to be sorted out. Later...

I like the idea of having workshops in a bit unusual locations. I once went to Spitzbergen (close 1000 km North of Kilpisjärvi). The Norwegian organizers had too much money, and decided to go for it. It was in July though. The sun spinning around the zenith all week. So the opposite of your experience.
