Some time ago, we discussed that this link could be added into help center: How to search on this site? Are there plans among moderators to request doing this?
This is based on my previous suggestion here on meta: Should we add external searches in some help pages about search? It was suggested by quid and Aloizio Macedo that having a post on meta is better option than editing the help center. (Mainly because in this way the information can be improved and updated by regular users whenever needed.) — Martin Sleziak Oct 15 '18 at 12:49
I suppose that this part of help center is not mod editable (based on: What parts of the help center can site moderators edit?). However, maybe it would suffice to add to this question: Should we add external searches in some help pages about search?

Were math.se moderators overlooked for a possible protempore appointment to the new Moderator Council? Given the size of the site, that seems like a slight; but I thought I'd ask because perhaps one or more math mods were approached with an offer, but declined.
And perhaps nothing can be said about this publicly.

@amWhy us slacker mods, no way. ;D

@quid ;D

@MartinSleziak Thanks for bringing this up. Indeed I don't think that's editable for us. For the status review, yes we could do this, but maybe we need to be more clear in the post what we request. For now I added the faq-tag to the old thread.

Thanks to @DanielFischer and @Alexander in the close vote review queue!

Q: Ratio of two definite integrals

FakeMod Evaluate: $$\underline{\quad\int _0 ^\pi x^3 \ln (\sin x) \mathrm d x\quad\:}\\{\int _0 ^\pi x^2 \ln(\sqrt 2 \sin x) \mathrm d x}$$ I tried expressing the integral in the numerator as a multiple of the integral in the denominator. To do this, I used the following property of definite inte...

It gathered two downvotes after it lost activity and was rightfully closed as a dupe(I myself flagged it as a dupe). I am not worried about the 2 downvotes at all. Rather I am concerned about what was wrong about my post which made people downvote it.

I rarely get downvotes on Physics SE, but that's maybe because it's not as active as MSE.

user434058
So were the downvotes just some casual clicks from wanderes and lurkers, or is there something really wrong about my question which I should improve when I ask my next question.

Is there something to improve for my next post? If yes, then what?

@FakeMod I don't know, but self-answered dupes are not popular.
