This site is not a code-writing service. We can help you with specific questions about your code, ideally accompanied by an MCVE. Please show what you have tried, because this site expects some research by the asker and usually showing your attempt at a solution, even if it has errors, really helps clarify what you want to achieve. Also, please define what happens when the array contains a value not in the map, or is this not possible? See Open letter to students with homework problems. — Bohemian ♦ 27 secs ago

I appreciate that might seem unfair, however these complex questions with no definitive answer are "off-topic" for Stackoverflow. I see you quote the subjective questions section, but I don't think that's a correct interpritation. Regardless, I'm happy to share two suggested alternatives: I believe your question is on-topic for softwareengineering.stackexchange.com - Alternativly, JSON Schema has a friendly Slack server, and we'd be happy to chat! json-schema.org/slackRelequestual 26 secs ago

@PalleDue not as it is tough; the post would need to have the actual working code embedded in order to fly on Code Review. Perhaps Software Engineering? — Mathieu Guindon 31 secs ago

If you Richard think, one of the best programmers on the market made something not working? You need to think about your self! Your last sentence in question explains what you are doing wrong. If you show code you using trying to query a database, everyone will be sure what You're doing WRONG!!! — Mises 29 secs ago

Could you please close this question here? It refers to software engineering concepts and is more suitable on SE. As you have already asked it there (softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/q/439598/209774) cross-posting should be avoided. — Christophe 50 secs ago

I'm a little disappointed by the close for opinion-based here. I agree that this question has a degree of subjective-ness to it, but asking for possible solutions to a specific problem, with their pros and cons listed, is pretty common on SO. Maybe the problem is just the wording of the question, or, maybe this would fit better on [Software Engineering] (softwareengineering.stackexchange.com)? IMHO (admittedly biased), I think both answers, even though they are wildly different, are good answers to this question seeking advice. — TTT 8 secs ago

As far as I know, C++ compiler try to optimize non-subclass of virtual class classes out of existence at compiletime so that all the operations are inlined and the class becomes a pure data object, and there are no functions to point to. If it was a subclass you could do the unthinkable and hack your way into the vtable of the class, at the cost of portability and respect of fellow c++ programmers. — Dmitry 13 secs ago
