@MaartenBodewes While I agree that it's not strictly about programming, this is actually not about curl, but rather about Traefik, which is used a lot by programmers — and there are almost 2,000 questions about Traefik here. Most of them involve some kind of configuration problem. The issue is specifically about how to get these certificates loaded by Traefik correctly, and therefore I would like to keep it here. If at all, it should probably be migrated to Server Fault … (have a look at Security's FAQ). — slhck 36 secs ago

@AnkurGhoshal -- The best "example" is to write a simple main program with hard-coded data, and familiarize yourself with how to use multiset. That's how all programmers learn new things -- write a simple program that uses the thing they are not familiar with. — PaulMcKenzie 28 secs ago

Another problem with implementing such a method directly in the String class (instead of through extension) is you then include references on Int32, Double, etc yet those structs already refer to String through their ToString(), introducing circular dependencies which is Bad™ softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/11856/…Martheen 7 secs ago

Unfortunately, your question boils down to asking us to recommend a graphics library, which is outside of the scope of Stack Overflow. You may want to check out the Software Recommendations Stack Exchange, or google for something along the lines of "Simple C++ graphics library" — Frank 32 secs ago

This is the wrong Stack Exchange site for such questions. There is Sever Fault or Super User for such general question. Stack Overflow is for helping programmers to get there code working as described by the help topics What types of questions should I avoid asking? and What topics can I ask about here? Please visit the help center of Server Fault and Super User and use the search before asking. — Mofi 28 secs ago

As much as I agree with your notion that programmer should not entirely rely on tools provided, tools themselves should be able to handle all major problems - and that was such a problem. Otherwise why improving anything at all. Also programmers should not reinforce common image we have among non-coding crowd as opinionated (to say the least) by harsh reactions. Your comment was welcomed, but downvoting was not entirely justified. — Jeffz 23 secs ago

That's fine. You can self-answer your question now if you think that your question with the final solution would be helpful also for other Python programmers. You can put all the information provided by me into your answer and I would delete all my comments no longer needed in this case to clean up the question. Otherwise I suggest to delete your question on which you no longer wait for an answer. PS; I did not post an answer with the Python code as it is always more helpful for a programmer to find the solution oneself with some hints. — Mofi 59 secs ago

There isn't really a way for type checkers to track such complex run-time relations. Why do you want to control the behaviour of this function with a global variable? (See [Why is Global State so Evil?]softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/148108‌/…)) — decorator-factory just now
ML Classification 0.03349873551104395 (Old classification 0.0)
No, that's not possible. TypeScript has something similar (typeof), but it doesn't track mutable variables like this. Controlling how a function like this with a global variable is IMO probably a bad idea (See Why is global state so evil?). Why do you want this? — decorator-factory 14 secs ago

Welcome to Stack Overflow.! Questions that ask for general guidance regarding a problem approach are typically too broad and are not a good fit for this site. People have their own method for approaching the problem and because of this there cannot be a correct answer. Give a good read over Where to Start, and Minimal Reproducible Example then edit your post. — itprorh66 55 secs ago

This has been closed, and rightfully so. You haven't even asked a question. What did you expect us to do? Stackoverflow is a site where programmers ask for help when they get stuck with a problem. Where did you get stuck? Where is the description of what you did and what you haven't been able to do? Please click the links that philipxy posted and read the linked pages carefully in order to write a real request. — Thorsten Kettner 24 secs ago

I come from python -- C++ is not python. Do not use python (or any other language) as a model in writing C++ code. If you keep going down that route, you wind up exactly where you were -- the program will not compile, or it will have bugs, or it will be inefficient. And to top if off, the program will look weird to a C++ programmer -- you won't find too many C++ programmers naming their parameters the same as their member variables. — PaulMcKenzie 17 secs ago
