Thanks for the comment. Not meant to offend anyone in here. Just new and wanted to ask to connect with other programmers. — malialearnstocode 1 min ago

You suffer from one table to rule them all. But no matter, a "lookup" is required for each value, doesn't really matter where. Eventually someone will accidentally assign 500 to Gender because you cannot constrain it. — SMor 34 secs ago

Questions that ask "where do I start?" are typically too broad and are not a good fit for this site. People have their own method for approaching the problem and because of this there cannot be a correct answer. Give a good read over Where to Start and edit your post. — gunr2171 29 secs ago

It looks correct to me. That said, a function-like macro that "returns" a pointer to a buffer with automatic storage duration is likely to confuse programmers, since actual functions cannot do that. There is a good chance that people will accidentally use the object beyond its lifetime, or pass it to free(), or some similar mistake. So while you can do this, I"m not sure that you should. — Nate Eldredge just now

If you really need 0-based indexing because you can't live w/o it - just make a function that creates "0-arrays" which have a metatable __get and __set that do n-1 indexing, and a __len which does the right thing as well (you have to check if the border is 0, etc). Don't expect Lua programmers to like/accept your code, however, if you do. — BadZen 24 secs ago

Do you have also a question being on-topic for Stack Overflow according to the help topics What types of questions should I avoid asking? and What topics can I ask about here? It does not look so as there is no code posted by you on which you need help by other programmers to get the code working as expected. — Mofi 51 secs ago

Many thanks to bring this up. I didn't even think about the muted attribute cause the issue. As you have mentioned in the bug report, muted is necessary for video autoplay. My customers don't like programmers change their settings surreptitiously. I have starred the bug as a vote. Hopefully we can have more attention in the near future. — krave 59 secs ago

you may have the most common problem: page may use JavaScript to add/update elements but BeautifulSoup/lxml, requests/urllib can't run JS. You may need Selenium to control real web browser which can run JS. OR use (manually) DevTools in Firefox/Chrome (tab Network) to see if JavaScript reads data from some URL. And try to use this URL with requests. JS usually gets JSON which can be easy converted to Python dictionary (without BS). You can also check if page has (free) API for programmers. — furas 56 secs ago
