A few other Programmers here said it. I am technically allowed to use them, but they said, that I should try to avoid infinite loops. — yama_HD 20 secs ago

So I have found this solution. "Linking" might be very obvious to programmers familiar with c and c++. But to someone from Java or C#, etc this is not a common thing. And I mentioned that I was aware of linking and make files and so on from prev experience. The solution was not obvious and trivial. I ended up having to open build settings in my CodeBlocks project and add 3 odbc*.lib files. I found them in "Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Lib\10.0.xxx\um\x64\". CodeBlocks then take care of adding them to the build command. — Quintonn 13 secs ago

Welcome to SO. Please read What topics can I ask about and How to ask a good question and The perfect question. SO is not the place to ask for a tutorial, nor the place to find free programmers. Your question should show that you've put some efford into solving your own problem and should be answerable without writing half a book. — icecub 57 secs ago

People can and do ask for homework help here, however this looks off-topic for stack overflow because: 3. Questions asking for homework help must include a summary of the work you've done so far to solve the problem, and a description of the difficulty you are having solving it. Please edit the question add this. Please, also read this Open letter to students with homework problems. — dbc 33 secs ago

I couldn't disagree more with Unni. Maybe bad programmers can't use switch effectively, but I personally have not had any major issues with them. — default123 56 secs ago

but programmers should not rely on this. - Depends what OS you're writing for. C compilers certainly do make asm that depends on a zeroed BSS. e.g. godbolt.org/z/zeofqe shows GCC using .zero 32 in the BSS for int foo[8] = {0}; when compiling for GNU/Linux. — Peter Cordes 57 secs ago

And indeed, change the datatype in the database to date. Use a PreparedStatement. In Java use a LocalDate for a date. Hand it over to the PreparedStatement through one of the setObject methods. It works for thousands of other programmers, you can make it work too. Related: Insert & fetch java.time.LocalDate objects to/from an SQL database such as H2. — Ole V.V. 35 secs ago

This is perhaps better off at Software Engineering Stack Exchange. My take: you're going to need a GetInvoiceById() and GetInvoiceWithInvoiceLinesById() and a GetInvoiceLinesByInvoideId() and at that point you'll reconsider this outdated "layered" design. — CodeCaster 31 secs ago

Welcome to Stack Overflow. Please read Open Letter to Students with Homework Problems. You can't just dump your problem statement here and expect us to do it for you. It's also a good idea to take the tour, read about what's on-topic in the help center, and How to Ask. — Chris 47 secs ago

This question is inappropriate for this site, as it is not a specific question relating to programming (code) or use of a programmers tool (IDE, compiler, etc.).
