worse :D I just got a shutdown for no reason :X
no seriously that is the first time I've ever seen such a flag review message appear
as far as I know only mods are supposed to get those
@OctavianDamiean: where would that appear if we had one? Never seen this...
well I was serious too :( something's fishy with my Ubuntu :(
@Takkat you know the orange thingy that appears on top of your avatar displaying the mention count?
it looks pretty much like that one but its blue and on the left side of your avatar
19:03
omg I haven't got an orange thingy :S. The Stack Exchange dropdown on the left?
@Takkat oh no here in the chat I mean
as I say :D
guess had a too long work marathon today
guys make sure to checkout the Ask Mark session tomorrow!
I'll grab some sleep
nice dreams @OctavianDamiean
I always dream bad when I go to sleep early
@OctavianDamiean Night!
19:30
@JamesGifford hi
@TheX Hey.
@JamesGifford whats up?
@TheX Nothing really. You?
@JamesGifford nm... do you know how to mac apps for IOS?
@TheX Nope.
I don't do Mac or iOS dev, lacking a Mac. ;)
19:32
hmmm... that is my new task... for work I guess
but they won't give me an IOS device to test with... morons...
That's dumb.
idiotic...
Did they get you the $100/year iOS dev membership?
hell no
I guess they want miracles...
and even if they did... I would still need a Mac, for the software...
now that I think about it...
Wow. Convince them to get you this O'reilly media book. I've heard good things - oreilly.com/catalog/0636920010258
Wait.
you don't even have a mac?!
19:35
Nope
you can't do iOS dev without a Mac.
100% PC here
I know, they are stupid
you can try and do titanium, but that's not something that Apple likes. :P
hmm
gotta go. might be back later tonight. need to finish this school paper. :L
19:39
@JamesGifford you still have to have a mac, and pay the 100 dollars
Is it possible to disable the network connections indicator menu appearing on F10?
I want to use F10 for my programming (step over)
20:09
@TheX Ah. Didn't know that. :(
@Greg remap F10 to something else. Like F15. That way, you don't technically have a F10 key, but you do.
I think that'll work.
@JamesGifford I don't understand :\
@Greg I have my Caps lock key (the physical one) remapped using a custom .Xmodmap to esc.
What I'm suggesting is have your physical F10 key be remapped to F15 (or something like that), and then have your program listen for F15 (or whatever you remap it to)
Does that make any sense?
@JamesGifford ah, yes... if all programs can be remapped. My IDEs can listen to F15, but Chromium can't be remapped to listen to F15 (at least I don't think so)
I'm using Chromium for debugging JavaScript
@Greg Ah. In that case, I don't know how to help you. :(
hmm, there's no way to stop unity eating up my F10 key?
20:18
Try in ccsm
@Greg ccsm UbuntuUnityPlugin KeyToOpenFirstPanel = F10
Guess I was too late :P
20:54
@RolandTaylor are you there?
hey need to talk to you on IM
switching tab groups from time to time
if you are available
I need to vent to someone
20:57
but your not online
I am now XD
21:19
How to automatically install updates by a desktop user http://bit.ly/iF5ePg #installation
@Rinzwind ah thanks, sorry I went out
21:36
ah crap I totally messed up unity playing with the effects :\
time to reset back to the defaults @Greg
@TheX how do I do that?
launch the compiz editor, and press the button that says default??
another way to do it is to run compiz --reset
yeah that would probably be the easier way
21:41
wow I messed that up badly :D
I think its back to normal now

hi. how to enable keyboard indicator in gnome3, gnome-shell panel?
22:25
@MechanisM I'm not sure if Gnome3 supports indicators...
It does. I've seen some tutorial that needed some js files for ibus and add them to panel.js but forgot where I'd found it.
Oh, well I really have no idea - I've never used Gnome3.
(Which reminds me... time to upgrade my Fedora VM soon.)
how it's showing internet/sound/bluetooth indicators then?
@GeorgeEdison seems like you're moderator. maybe you'll let me know which programming language used to program this chat? it's so reminds me speeqe.com chats
which is django/python
@MechanisM Well first of all... I'm not really a moderator here.
I'm a moderator over at StackApps.
I can tell you what was used to program this chat though.
I've just seen in source that in for u setupe is_moderator: true hehe

22:32
According to the dev. team, ASP.Net MVC 3 running on IIS 7.5.
On the client side, we have jQuery 1.4.4.
ohhh..
