@AmithKK, well without any further measures that would lead to "comment bloat", so that solution should have a removal too - but that might make some unhappy, when their favourite comment suddenly vanishes.... so I tend to agree with @jokerdino.
@Seth may I bother you? I edited askubuntu.com/questions/264349/…, but forgot to remove the first sentence "My apologies ...". If I edit it again it looks like artificially creating rep... :-)

I'm trying to update a plugin for quod libet. I fetched a .patch-file from here.
I navigate into the directory where the plugin is placed
/usr/share/pyshared/quodlibet/plugins/events
and copy in the .patch-file. Then I run the command
sudo patch -b notify.py new-notify-plugin.patch

Rendering right now, gonna rerender it to a different format and then probably youtube it.

Anyways, boils down to 20 minutes of "Will this finally evaluate, for god's sake?" and "This is bloody awful formatting." and "Why didn't you explain this?! Makes no sense to me! That would probably be very confusing to newbies!"
And a lot of "Why would you do this?!"
But it's a nice course. Looks great for introducing people to PHP, at least.
