@EvilPhoenix I'm not sure there are any explicit restrictions, but most SE sites tend to be English-only unless the site itself is about a different language.
wenn ich versuche ubuntu 10.10 zu installieren, wird bei der installation nach einem upgrade verlangt (den genauen error kann ich noch nachtragen), wo kriege ich das upgrade her.
It's not a show-stopper, but really looks like one up-front. I re-started the install several times before finally allowing it to just work itself through.
If I have two connections to the Internet (one via eth0 and the other via wlan0), will both be utilized by default?
...or do I have to make some adjustments in order to have applications take advantage of both connections?
haha. It would be better if ITT Tech would have let me test out of this class. I'm a second semester student, carrying a 4.0 (toots my own horn) and the class i'm sitting in is a freshman class on "how to study" and "how to use microsoft office"
things that I really didn't want to waste money on, however its a required class from corporate so i'm had.
@JamesGifford i'm a business owner, a 9 to 5'er at a .net shop, and a full time student.. how they figure I dont know how to study or use MS/Open Office effectively.. i'll never know.
@Alvar - Working on the scholarship portal for my 9-5. I'd like to see it launch by the first.
@JamesGifford i understand that, but theres no option to test out of the class. Its a cash cow for them, a required thousand dollars that you have to spend.
its all administrative/political clout.
@Alvar and to be specific, i'm trying to roll FFMpeg into this asp.net application to convert uploaded video's to .flv and extract a frame for a thumbnail, a-la-youtube style.
@Alvar i'm just converting the video to a streamable format on the back end, i already have a HTML5/Flash video player frontend.
I really wish the OAuth process for youtube wasnt such a pita, I would have piggybacked off of their data API and just utilized their system. However, i was unable to figure it out in a timely fashion so I'm back to rolling my own solution.
