@andrew.46 Apparmour is great. Ubuntu's move is... not great
I mean, there's one distro that has a good interface for Apparmour, and that's SuSE.
So I agree with much of the criticism, but not the form.

@vidarlo I will put it on the long list of things I will look at one day :)
@vidarlo That Meta post is not a great reflection on almost everyone involved. I see 2 elected Mods already + 2 previously elected Mods all involved with no great resolution. I am a little wary of adding my 5 cents worth when Mods are already flailing around :(

Mind you I have interceded on the comments and user here: askubuntu.com/a/1538468/57576

@andrew.46 I find the tone understandable, but also completely unacceptable.
While what Ubuntu is doing is great from a security perspective, I'm not certain it's good from a UX perspective. Things suddenly work in different ways or not at all, and it's not obvious why, and it's not communicated very well
or even at all.
Same goes for snaps; final nail in the Ubuntu coffin for me. Up to that point I picked Ubuntu for servers. Now? Debian or SuSE.

As for criticising Ubuntu - I think some diamond wearers in that discussion was a bit tender.
