If you have successfully built an initrd (and added this correctly to lilo.conf) there should be a 'huge' kernel to also select at the lilo splash screen; this is the normal failsafe...

Not kernel panic;simply stuck on loading with no further output. I'll try in vbox. And also probably grub, as I feel more comfortable with that.

@ArturMeinild Behind the scenes the issue with MTU settings is being worked on; perhaps when the strike is ended we could come together with a followup strategy? This would be best in Raiders I suspect and it would be nice to have a united strategy that all parties will be happy with.

This work has been done within the considerable constraints of the current strike but it has been ongoing...
