@BeastOfCaerbannog I think the file checking in 20.04 was a bug - bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/casper/+bug/1875548. "This bug was fixed in the package casper - 1.447" . I do not get automatic file checking in the latest versions of Ubuntu.

I (by accident) did a 20.04 install yesterday and it did file checking. I don't remember 21.04 doing it either ._.
(cause I forgot I needed 21.04 to run the nightly of qbitorrent and ended up just dist upgrading it twice to the latest)
