@Mitch Please don't do double-tap tag-wiki edits. If you edit in one line, then edit in a paragraph...it's just confusing. The longer descriptions with sources are almost always very nice.
@StephenMyall You got a couple of upvotes and an edit from me on one of your questions. feel free to take some of the content from the links and add to the question. i'm confident it would net you some more points...
I'm not sure how possible your request is given the guest session is recreated every time as a "default new user" I also don’t know a method of turning this behaviour off (hopefully someone else will come along and answer that piece)
A plausible workaround though, is to remove the Guest account...
@jokerdino lol, really? I tend to focus on the answers and do flagging, just too bad some comments and not really answer answers flags are sometimes rejected, but that's okay really.
Review system looks good in controlling spam and low quality contents . I am aware it is still in BETA.
While reviewing i came across an answer whose author had less Reps to comment originally , hence seems to have posted it as answer . Thus reviewing enables me to post comment below it as ,

Ubuntu is becoming slow for no apparent reason. I'd like some help with analysing and fixing this issue.
Usually when a system slows down, that's because the software is using too much system resources, but my CPU and RAM usage usually doesn't even reach 40%. Still, the system starts slowing dow...
What are your tips for improving overall system performance on ubuntu? Inspired by this question I realized that some default settings may be rather conservative on Ubuntu and that it's possible to tweak it with little or no risk if you wish to make it faster.
This is not meant to be application...
@RolandTaylor well I didn't actually disappeared when he said that, I was busy editing and then your messenger came around saying you couldn't come back into the chat.
@jokerdino np. i was hoping to get the idea across in a comment or two, but it seems i can't communicate "single destination point" adequately or "dupe/close" seems derogatory for some reason
I am not sure how to review the answer here http://askubuntu.com/questions/113488/touchpad-on-gateway-lt2802u-netbook-doesnt-work, it was posted by Trusted user , looks good but suspect it as comment .
@tijybba i'ld leave it. personally i would have put it as a comment, but being a response to a 1-rep...it could get an upvote and pseudo-close if there is no accept
nitstorm formatted my first question, Jorge added a screenshot and upvoted my answer. jrg downvoted my one other answer and scared me. Roland was nice to me earlier on.
Trying to find the links.
Great answer! However, the last part is a bit misleading - those are shortcuts for GNOME (Unity, GNOME Shell, or GNOME Classic) desktops, not for the Shell itself. He means a "cheat sheet" kind of list, listing all the GNOME Shell specific shortcuts (there is one for Unity here). — Roland TaylorOct 16 '11 at 11:27
-1, that link's instructions won't work properly for 11.10 and gtk3. — jrgOct 17 '11 at 11:49
@hakermania Click on the down arrow, and you'll see a delete option (within 2 minutes of posting)...it's because there is a public transcript of all chat rooms, and you may not want some things to stick around forever ;)
Hi, I have bought a computer. But, it comes with an operating system -windows 7-. ( built in ) I want install Ubuntu 12.04, but I have one problem =>if windows 7 is deleted on hard disk, I cannot reinstall the windows 7 ( if I need at future ). I dont want install Ubuntu inside windows 7 over using virtual box. What should I do ?
@gcc so it's possible to install windows after you install Ubuntu, but you'll need to quite a bit of work to get the dual-boot working again. If you're doing Ubuntu over Windows, you'll be fine.
