If I try to run the file like so, look what happens:

$ ./gen_iface.py
: No such file or directory

But if I run it this way, it works:

python gen_iface.py

The permissions are set to 755.

Once LP catches up with the build queue, a lot of packages will be ready.

I've got wxWidgets building on my machine now.

Not much more is needed before I can cross-compile Audacity.

In fact, a 64-bit Windows build of Audacity doesn't seem to even exist.

This will truly be a first.

Topic change: would LP get upset if I hosted code for LAME?

(I'm not a lawyer but there may be legal issues with using LAME.)

Maybe that would be a good question for AU.

@Prasad You might need to backport a newer kernel, depending on how new your onboard graphics is. I got 10.04 working with Ivy Bridge hardware by backporting a 3.2.x kernel...
