@technastic_tc I am not sure, since I cannot try it myself. Furthermore, the user says that they don't remember how they installed the theme and it could be by using a PopOS ppa. If they did install it that way, many things may have been updated to versions different than the Ubuntu-supported ones, thus the problem.
Right now I am not willing to try the PopOS ppa, since from what I've read about it here many things can go wrong with it and I can't afford losing time for this kind of troubleshooting.
I am not sure, because the packages that were upgraded by the ppa won't be automatically downgraded, unless they had ppa-purge installed when they added the ppa and they remove it with it.
I just now saw the answers on the suggested duplicate questions. They say, more or less, the above things. Also, the user says that they tried what was mentioned here and didn't work.
@technastic_tc In the user's current directory. You can run it as history > ~/history.txt to save it to your home. In general it's history > /path/to/dir/history.txt, where /path/to/dir/ is the directory in which you want the file to be stored at.
