@jokerdino OK, I tried your answer. copied the NPAPI plugin in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins folder and changed /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu to /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu and it's now using/showing notification for download completion in notify-osd
