I am confused.
Through synaptic package manager, as I mark the texlive-bibtex-extra to install, it says it will remove biber!
Don't I need biber too for biblatex?

@raf As per the output of apt depends biber, biber breaks biberlatex. So they can't be dependency of one or another.

@Kulfy I didn't face this problem while using miktex in windows!

@raf Windows doesn't work with deb packages and packages in that aren't installed by dpkg. Windows only have executables, thus no dependency issues.

Well, we have as much resources as you have :) IMO it's better to search yourself since you know what error you're encountering. And if something is found, you can test it asap.

Q: Ubuntu External Monitor Only Shows Mouse Cursor
