@Zanna Well, when it comes to tasks requiring focus multitasking can be unnecessary, even harmful. The example you gave is kinda safe - automatically doing something and that doesn't require that much mental powers, while doing something else that takes a little more focus.

And I'm starting to thing multitasking sometimes really just comes down to habits or automatic behavior. Like talking to someone and pouring a cup of coffee at the same time.
