Q: Why do Ubuntu and Debian still only ship usbutils 007 while it's 5 years old and new versions are available?

As I understand, usbutils 008 was released 4 years ago, and current version is 010. To be honest, whenever I see that REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED message I simply do a ssh-keygen -R hostname. But I don't recommend that.

Q: IP Logging with Ubuntu Server

I use Ubuntu to host my web sites. I would like to generate a log of every IP address that "touches" my Ubuntu installation - including ping, port scans, etc, not just http requests. What would be an efficient way to accomplish this task ?
