I even went as far as sudo apt-get install unity

then I realized some stuff was missing and I should probably do sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

then I saw the loads of packages, some of which aren't even necessary for unity...

and thought better of it. then I did sudo apt-get purge unity :-)

I have approximately 50 .deb packages, it will be a pain double clicking them and wait for software center to open and then click on install and do this all process approx. 50 times. Is there any easy way to install these packages?
